Summertime in Melbourne just wouldn’t be right without the annual Melbourne Zoo Twilight Series. Back for another year in 2015, they’ve continued to cater for a variety of musical tastes with a 12 date concert series that will feature artists as diverse as the animals in the Zoo.

Hosting an array of both international and local acts, punters can look forward to performances from Conor Oberst along with former Pavement frontman Stephen Malkmus’ new band, Bernard Fanning, The Village People, Spiderbait, The Cat Empire and more.

Tickets to the shows include full access to the Zoo so you can arrive early and check out the many exhibits before settling down for a night of music (best get in quick because shows are selling out). Proceeds from the shows will go towards saving the Eastern Barred Bandicoot which is now, sadly, considered to be extinct in the wild.
