Despite the current festival climate with Harvest Festival, Pyramid Rock, Sprung and recently Homebake having to cancel, a new festival called Panama has appeared, aiming to provide festival goers with a small, intimate event set in the forests of North-Eastern Tasmania.

Panama will take place over the 8th and 9th of March 2014 and will feature a select line up of both Australian and International bands. For its first announcement Panama has announced that it will be bringing Charles Bradley, Husky and The Frowning Clouds to the Lone Star Valley in Tasmania’s northeast.

“This event cares about music (deeply), great sound, and your viewing and listening pleasure”, Panama aims to be a unique music and arts experience that will celebrate the Tasmanian forests as much as the music that will be played.

Tickets are limited to 1000 and will go on sale December 1st on the Panama website.

Children 4 and under are free to attend.

Kids 5 – 11 are $50 for the weekend.

Humans 12 – 17 are $100 for the weekend.

Adults full weekend passes are $160.
