Segue takes the cake for the best answer to our bonus question EVER! No further introduction required, get stuck in you filthy animals.

Please introduce yourself.

We are Segue, an alternative/dream-pop project from Perth.

What can you share about the new single?

Gloves Off is the first single from our upcoming debut album Primary Ties. Like the rest of the album it was written, recorded and mixed across various houses that I lived in from September last year until now. I think out of all the tracks it best summarises the overall vibe of the album, both sonically and emotionally. It’s kind of anxious but also comfortable in that anxiety.

What has been the highlight so far for 2018?

My highlight of this year so far has been playing an unusually (for us) sweaty set inside a shipping container at Falls Festival in Fremantle. It was nice having a bunch of friends crammed into a comically tight space.

What is the most recent album you have bought an why?

An original pressing of Kraftwerk’s Autobahn, with the alternative cover. I normally don’t nerd out on records too much, but this got me really excited. I bought it because I happened to look through that section of the record store before Daniel did.

You can go to any fictional place for a day. Where would it be and what is the first thing you would do?

I’d go to George Costanza’s apartment. I feel like no one ever goes there. I’d look inside the fridge.
