Falls Festival – Lorne 2016, Day 3

It was New Years Eve and the final day of the Lorne Falls Festival. As the punters drank to the end of everyone’s love to hate year, it didn’t matter what your drink of choice was, more your choice of receptacle for said drink. Shoey’s were the trend of the day, with at least 5 individual shoey’s consumed by an eager crowd waiting for Vallis Alps in the Grand Theatre. Perhaps a fitting way to say ‘laters 2016’ with a drink that really should have been word of the year.

Bringing in the new year and closing the festival were Good Boy, Parquet Courts, Marlon Williams, City Calm Down, The Rubens, Jamie T, Pond, Vallis Alps, Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Avalanches and Tkay Maidza.
