DARK MOFO 2014 Lineup

MONA FOMA‘s darker, winter counterpart DARK MOFO has announced the lineup for this year’s installment, taking place in Hobart from Thursday June 12th to June 22nd. It looks to be another amazing year with the line up including legendary filmmaker David Lynch and his musical project Chrysta Bell, music lovers ideal kids program Yo Gabba Gabba! Drone metalists SUNN O))) in a triple-bill with experimental group Earth and metal band Veil of Darkness and what would guarantee to be a hectic night with The Bronx in a co-headline show with our own brutal Melbourne four-piece High Tension. Other local acts making the short travel across the water include HTRK, Kirin J Callinan, Total Control and Nun who will play in the showcase titled Afterlife.

There’s also the films program which will screen the Nick Cave documentary 20,000 Days On Earth, as well as installation art from electronic artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, a waterfront banquet, the after-hours partying at Dark Faux Mo and plenty more.
