What Sound Melbourne is a music website focusing on the Melbourne music scene. Made up of a group of dedicated music fans who also happen to be budding writers and photographers, our aim is to explore and report back on as much of the Melbourne scene as we can. Our website features music reviews, gig photos, recommended shows and more. We also offer monthly mixtapes of Melbourne music on SoundCloud.

What Sound is on the lookout for keen writers and photographers to help us cover the wonderfully active Melbourne music scene. With so many events on each week and new albums being released everyday, we’re hoping people who are as passionate and dedicated as we are to music in Melbourne can contribute.
